Frequently Asked Questions

Leaders, and those aspiring to be leaders, in membership and non-profit organisations face a unique set of challenges. They must deliver transformation at pace, navigate trustee governance, balance mission with money, and adapt to rapid technological change.

Yet too often, even the most senior executives have little structured support to strengthen the skills and insights they need. General leadership programmes exist, but few address the specific realities of leading in a values-driven, resource-constrained sector. That is the gap The Leadership Blueprint was created to fill.

FAQ

It’s a leadership development programme for senior leaders in membership organisations and non-profits. That includes Chairs, Trustees, CEOs, Director Generals, Chief Officers and heads of membership, policy, fundraising and governance.

It’s also for aspiring leaders who are ready to step up. You might lead a professional body, trade association, charity, royal college, union or co-operative.

There are four in-person leadership modules over nine months, all held in central London. Each module runs across the day and includes lunch and refreshments.

The modules are on 13 May 2027, 15 July 2027, 14 October 2027 and 27 January 2028. Between them, you’ll apply what you’ve learned back at your organisation.

You’ll build board-level skills in four areas:

  1. Leadership mindset and organisational culture
  2. Strategic finance, product and innovation
  3. Data, AI and digital transformation
  4. Talent, succession and systems leadership

Each module tackles the real challenges of non-profit and membership leadership: mission, limited resources, trustee-led governance and the pace of change.

After every module you’ll have a practical leadership playbook you can use the next day. It includes:

  • Live strategic diagnostics
  • A personal leadership roadmap
  • A Mission-Money Playbook
  • A Data and AI Adoption Framework
  • A Succession and Talent Map

You’ll also get lifetime membership of the alumni network.

You’ll join 40+ senior sector leaders in confidential peer boardroom sessions. The programme is delivered by Intercloud9, a change management consultancy that works only with membership organisations. Intercloud9 has worked with more than 50 organisations, representing a combined 38 million members.

The full programme costs £1,495 (+VAT). Individual sessions are priced at £495.00 (+VAT) but we fully encourage everyone to sign on for the whole package for maximum benefit. Register now for Cohort Two now, ahead of the first module on 13 May 2027.

General courses teach skills. The Leadership Blueprint is an executive leadership programme built around the responsibilities that come with senior roles. It’s designed only for senior leaders in membership organisations, charities and non-profits, where you deal with values-driven missions, limited resources and trustee-led governance.

Between modules, short online facilitated roundtables and a peer network keep your momentum going without taking you away from your organisation for long.

You’ll work on live challenges from your own organisation, not case studies. Each module connects your leadership to strategy, culture and performance, covering governance, strategic finance, innovation, data and AI, and succession planning. You’ll leave each one with a board-ready playbook you can use the next day.

The programme isn’t pass or fail. At the start, you set your own objectives, and live diagnostics show where you are now. From there, you track your progress through guided reflection, peer feedback and facilitator support. Success shows up as more confident decision-making and stronger board relationships.

You won’t fall behind. If you miss a module, you’ll get a catch-up session, the full module materials and continued access to your cohort.
